History

ICC was launched in 17 October 2009 and assumed the title of “The biggest and the newest convention center of Europe”. ICC hosted its first big organization of World Bank Group and IMF Annual Meetings in 6-7 October 2009.

In March 2011, “Fine, Ekonopark, Maçka Ordinary Partnership” won the tender which was initiated by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and undertook the management of Istanbul Convention Center. CEO of “Fine, Ekonopark, Maçka Ordinary Partnership”, that also embodies 21 Rixos Hotels worldwide, 14 of which is located in Turkey, is Fatih Tamince.

With the international management experience of Rixos Hotels and service quality attitude, Istanbul Convention Center has hosted many cultural and artistic events in a short span of time.

Our Mission

Istanbul Convention Center which is the biggest convention center in Turkey, aims to be the center for conventions and events in any scale, with different sized multipurpose meeting saloons, fair and exhibition areas, besides its 3700-person capacity auditorium. ICC is a cultural and artistic meeting point with its central location in Istanbul.

Together with the aim of providing wide range of event opportunities, ICC opens a new and important door for the ones who want to work in this industry by providing employment in convention tourism with its innovative and creative mission.

Our Vision

Istanbul Convention Center, which is the biggest convention center in Turkey, will be hosting many nationally and internationally held events, without being contented with serving just domestically, in order to become the biggest convention center not only in quantity, but also in quality. In that way, ICC will not only contribute directly to introduction and economic life of Istanbul, but also will be a propellant power in the aim of Turkey to be the global leader in political, economic and cultural area.

ICC aims to move Turkey from 7th place to a place in the first 3, in terms of world convention center potential, with many different features embodied in itself.

Privacy Policy

Istanbul Congress Center respects the privacy of your personal information. Any personal information that you provide will be used for the purposes of responding to your needs or comments. The Centre will not collect sensitive personal information (eg. medical and health information).

The types of organizations to which we may disclose this information include regulatory bodies, contractors and professional advisers who assist us in providing our services and our insurers. The information that we provide to other organizations will be strictly limited to what is required to provide the event, conduct our operations or comply with the law.

You are entitled to obtain access to the personal information we hold about you. The procedure for gaining this access is set out in an information sheet, which is available from our main reception.
